Kosovo Banking Association

The Kosovo Banking Association (KBA) supports the development of the banking sector and is the representative voice of the banking industry in the Republic of Kosovo. We support member banks to achieve their objectives by providing a platform for advocacy, capacity building, and public relations.  Banking is key to Kosovo's economic development and prosperity and we help advance this cause. Our main objectives are to create optimal conditions for an innovative, sustainable, secure, and inclusive banking sector in Kosovo.

MISSION 

We represent the voice of the banking sector in Kosovo and support member banks to achieve their objectives by providing a platform for advocacy, capacity building and public relations.

- We represent the voice of Kosovo's commercial banks regarding banking sector issues and cooperate with all authorities including the Assembly, the Government, the Central Bank, National and International Financial Institutions, the Media and other partner organizations with the purpose of supporting the development of the banking sector in Kosovo. 

- We provide professional trainings to our members to increase their human resource capacities, advance their services and promote innovation. 

- We act as liaison between the banking sector and the public vis-a-vis media relations, direct information to the public, publications, education and awareness campaigns and other CSR activities.  

- We promote best banking practices among our member banks including responsible banking for sustainable financing.
